The sameitme connect client doesn;t have any hooks for sending a message to specific person, so I think you may find the approach to launching Sametime not really effective anyway.

Why wont you know the name/location of your sametime server?

Sameitme allows for anonymous logins on the web, that iis how we provide the link to our sales queue on our website, as visitors to our site do not have a name or a password.
